About Me

At a young age I was introduced to the world of Dirt Bikes by a good friend. I went to a local race to watch him ride and I remember the sound of all the bikes like it was yesterday. I also remember being slightly disappointed in how my friend rode. He came off the track and before he took his helmet off I asked him why he wasn’t trying harder and going faster? He took his helmet off and while the sweat was dripping off his face he said;

“it’s a lot harder than it looks!”

I spent the rest of that summer begging my parents to buy me a bike and spent hours researching bikes and looking through Bike Trader Magazine. The next summer my parents bought me my first bike and from that moment on, all I wanted to do was ride!

I have spent years becoming the rider I am now, and I know first hand that doesn’t come easy. I went to dirt bike camps, dirt bike schools and I trained all the time, there was never a moment I can remember that I didn’t want to be on my bike. There was a point as everyone can relate where I blew up my bike and after receiving the bill from a local shop my father turned to me and said;

“You need to learn how to fix these yourself or we won’t be riding much longer”

From that moment on, I began educating myself on how to maintain and fix these bikes. I read owners manuals front to back, spoke with mechanics and sought out anyone with lots of racing experience.

Throughout my career as a racer I was fortunate enough to work for several shops in the motorcycle industry. I worked for GP Bikes, Ultimate Toyz, Ignition Racing, Precision Cycle Works and Royal Distributing. All this experience and hard work turned my passion into a career which is now MX Garage.
